How it all started
It all started back in the 70’s. After a 16 year career as a local Police Officer, Ron Stockdale started his real estate career and worked for many of the traditional type real estate firms in Brantford and Hamilton.
Ron was famous for introducing successful new ideas for marketing & selling real estate and quickly became one of the top Realtors in the area, receiving many awards that the local Real Estate Board handed out for being the #1 Real Estate Agent.
Ron would later be hired to manage some small real estate firms in the hopes he would be able to help grow their business. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Ron was able to quickly turn these companies into one of the more successful Brokerages in the City.
In 1986 Ron’s Son Chris joined Ron as a licensed Realtor and in the 1990’s a new era of selling real estate began as Ron & Chris teamed up to form one of Brantford’s top producing Teams.
Gaining all this experience & knowledge gave Ron & Chris a true love for the industry, but over the years they had seen many changes to the Law and the rules & regulations governing the real estate industry that have frustrated them both. The way of selling and buying real estate was changing yet the traditional way Real Estate Brokerages operated was not.
It was because of the constant changes within the industry plus the frustration by a structure which kept Ron & Chris from exercising their own ideas and true values that Ron and Chris decided to open up their own Brokerage.
In 2001 Ron E Stockdale Real Estate was formed. Ron & Chris now had the freedom to do what they believed in and what the Seller & Buyers desperately wanted.
When Ron & Chris opened their doors to their new Real Estate Brokerage they immediately came up with a program that offered the same full service they had been providing for their clients for years, but NOW at a Lower Fee. Sellers & Buyers were very quick to support the new program and we are honoured that they have continued to do so over the years.
As each year passed, the company and its sales have kept growing and in 2007 a name change was incorporated to better describe our services… Seller’s Choice Stockdale Realty Ltd (Brokerage) with a larger office and an added administration staff to help serve all our clients & customers more efficiently.
We are very proud that since we first opened our Real Estate Brokerage we have saved* Home owners who SOLD their home with us thousands of dollars and helped many buyers find their dream homes.
Today we continue to save* our Sellers thousands of dollars and put buyers into their dream homes.
